The Mid Rio Grande Border Area Health Education Center has unveiled a new website!
The Mid Rio Grande Border Area Health Education Center (MRGB AHEC) was established in 1993 by a coalition of Laredo community leaders and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) to address the growing need for health care professionals and academic resources in the region. The Center is part of a network of five community-based AHEC Centers with the South Texas AHEC Program located at the UTHSCSA.
The year 2013 will mark the 60th Anniversary when 3,000 men, women and children were forced to move almost 3 years earlier than planned, due to torrential rains that inundated the area, causing the lake to flood prematurely. Many families lost everything they owned: their ancestral homes, their pets and farm animals, their rights to any claim and were even forced to abandon their beloved dead at cemeteries flooded by the new lake.
Branding begins with a well conceived and properly designed logo. We begin with a basic idea or message, then develop iterations to present the message but with different points of view. A properly designed logo should stand on its own, be adaptable to all media and deliver its message without explanation. If you have to explain then it fails as a logo.
